About Ash Alley
A Creative Space Built for Artists, by Artists
Credentials
Ash Alley LLC is a fully registered and licensed creative production company specializing in music production, video production, and content development. The company was built to give artists access to a dedicated space that collaborates directly with them providing professional support across every stage of the creative process, from concept to completion.
Founded by Kuddy Cain McAlpin, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Production and Video Production, Ash Alley combines academic expertise with over eight years of hands-on industry experience. The company’s operations are backed by formal training in business and entrepreneurship, ensuring both the creative and structural integrity of each project.
With a strong background in recording, mixing, mastering, cinematography, and editing, Ash Alley delivers work that meets professional standards while remaining true to each artist’s vision. Based in Tacoma, Washington, with roots in the Seattle creative scene, the company continues to expand its reach fostering a collaborative environment where artists and producers grow together.
Ash Alley stands as a space designed to help artists build, develop, and release their work with a team that’s invested in their success.

How it all started
Ash Alley began in 2022 under the name "The Way Out", producing music videos and short films for artists who wanted fast and affordable high quality visuals. Built on creativity, collaboration, and an understanding of the artistic process, the company quickly gained traction within the local music scene in Tacoma.
As demand grew, it became clear that artists needed more than just video production, they needed a complete space to record, create, and create music, art, brand, and content. This vision led to a full rebrand in 2025, launching Ash Alley LLC as a multi-service creative space with the vision of creating not just a service, but a space for artists to thrive.
Finding the right space was the first challenge. After exploring options like shipping container conversions and prefab structures, we chose a trailer because its ability to have full customization potential allowed us to design a fully functional, adaptable studio that could bring professional resources directly to the community.
Why We Do It
Ash Alley exists to give opportunities we wish we had when we were starting out. From the early days of freestyling with friends, there is always untapped talent in the people around us. we realized that with the right resources, a space to record, film, and create, those friends could turn potential into careers.
That grew to include so much more people who had hidden talents. that's what inspired Ash Alley ("The Way Out" at the time)
Our mission is simple: help people become The Way Out” for their communities. That means equipping artists who will go on to inspire, uplift, and open doors for others. We don’t just provide services, we encourage growth, connection, and a sense of accomplishment. We want everyone to know they can make it and to leave inspired to do more.
Ash Alley is a community, not just a company. its a home for artists of all styles, passions, genres, and talents.
Plans for the Future
In the coming years, we plan to grow the Ash Alley community, expand our resources, and eventually move into a permanent, larger facility. This future space will provide greater comfort, more creative opportunities, and an even wider range of tools for artists.
We’re building a diverse team of specialists in engineering, cinematography, production design, branding, and more. This ensures every artist has the right people behind their vision.
Our long term goal is to establish Ash Alley as a fully integrated creative headquarters where artists can record, film, brand, and market themselves under one roof as well as have varying prices to allow affordable options and services for everyone.
